Our church has purchased three AEDs (automated external defibrillators). They are located on the 1st & 2nd floors by the old elevators and in the church office. They are available to be used in case of a cardiac emergency. We will be offering CPR/AED training classes over the next few months. Watch for sign-up information in the near future. If you are currently certified in CPR and AED, please notify Suzanne McLelland @ 547-4534 or Tammy Furr @ 547-0747 of your certificate so that we may create a list of potential First Responders.

Weekly Powerhouse Prayer Time

This is a time of corporate prayer on Sunday mornings from 8:00-8:45 a.m. where believers join together to pray for the Sunday services and Bible studies. We begin in the Worship Center with a brief time of praise and direction and then move throughout the church campus prayer-walking all of the areas where people will be meeting. We ask God to move in a powerful way in the hearts and lives of individuals and families who will be attending that day. This prayer time is flexible in the sense that folks can participate every Sunday or one Sunday a month or whatever best fits their schedules. If someone wants to pray for just part of that time (ex. 30 minutes) before heading out to other responsibilities they are welcome to do that as well.

Recycle your cell phones & inkjets for the York County Christian Women’s Job Corps. Collect & donate your empty inkjets, used cell phones, laser cartridges, laptops & pda’s. YCCWJC will earn much needed funds from each item that you donate. You can donate your cartridges all year long. Boxes are located by the elevators!
