CHILDREN'S MUSIC MINISTRY
Preschool Choirs
Ages: 2-3
Rehearsal: 6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays
Location: Room 118
While most Children's Choir begin at age 3, we like to get them started early with music. Emphasis is placed on teaching basic musical skills and instilling in the children the joy of singing for God. They sings periodically in our Wednesday night services.
Ages: 4-5 Year of Choir
Rehearsal: 6:00 p.m.- 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays
Location: Room 117
The next age grades choir is the 4 and 5 year olds. As the children grow older, additional musical skills are taught and short musical programs are also presented. This group also sings periodically in our Wednesday night services.
Elementary Choir
Ages: Grades 1-5
Rehearsal: 6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays
Location: Choir Room, Room 225
Beginning with our first graders, In-depth musical skills are taught. Part singing, harmony and music theory make up the curriculum of this choir. They sing periodically in the Sunday services and present musical programs at Christmas and in the spring.
