Our Silver Anniversary Gala was held on Sunday evening May 4, 2008. We gathered at the Spartanburg Auditorium for a celebration service and mission fair.  We focused on what God is doing now in local missions. The president of the Southern Baptist Convention, Dr. Frank Page was our guest speaker.  Also present was our Executive Director of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, Dr. Jim Austin.  Mayor Bill Barnet and other city and county dignitaries were present to help us celebrate.  

          We will close our year-long anniversary with our Annual Fall Meeting October 28, 2008 focusing on what God is calling us to do in the years to come.  We will meet at Southside Baptist Church, where the merger began 25 years ago.  Join with us as we rejoice over what God has done, is doing, and will do in local missions through the churches of the Spartanburg County Baptist Network!
