Dr. Rob H. White, Senior Pastor
On June 18, 2006, Dr. Rob H. White was called as Senior Pastor at Trinity. He accepted this call and has led us prayerfully and expertly through a transforming time in our church.
Until September 1975, Dr. White enjoyed a successful career in sales and management. Since 1975, he has served in Southern Baptist churches as Associate Pastor and Pastor in Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee and South Carolina. Attendance and baptisms increased dramatically in the churches he served. He has been involved in two major building projects. Prior to accepting the call to Trinity, he served the South Carolina Baptist convention as a Church Planting Strategist.
He has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary, a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Mobile. Dr. White was licensed to the Gospel Ministry at First Baptist Church, Hoover, AL, on October 8, 1975 and ordained to Gospel Ministry at Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, on November 17, 1976.
Dr. White’s passion is preaching and seeing people awaken to Biblical truth. He is energized by personal evangelism and overseas missions. His hobbies include: golfing, fishing, hiking, gardening and reading.
Rob has been married to his wife, Sandy, for forty-five years. He has three children; Jeffery White, Jennifer Baggett and Jessica Clark and nine grandchildren.
